Biography of San Diego Bicultural/Bilingual Psychologist Dr. Madeline Long
Dr. Long completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a major in psychology and a minor in Spanish. She received her Psy.D. doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Wright State University School of Professional Psychology in Dayton, Ohio, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Long completed her internship at Northlake Community Counseling Center in East Chicago, Indiana and her Post Doctoral Fellowship at Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, both of which are accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Long has worked in various settings including an Adolescent Residential Facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, psychiatric hospitals and community mental health centers. In these various locations, Dr. Long has provided services such as individual therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations and group therapy.
Currently, Dr. Long is engaged in private practice in San Diego, California. She provides bilingual and bicultural therapy to English and Spanish speaking clients in the San Diego area as a licensed clinical psychologist. She is a member of the San Diego Psychological Association.
Dr. Long is married and has two children.
